The feature is available starting with the update 4.2.0 for iOS users and from 4.1.4 for Android users. With the CO-DRIVER NO1, the feature can only be used via the app on your phone.
Using the feature with the CO-DRIVER NO1
If you have enabled the feature, you will receive notifications on your phone. Depending on the settings, your phone will play a sound, and you will receive a push notification. The CO-DRIVER NO1 does not have any sound or light signals on the device itself. With the CO-DRIVER NO2, you will also receive acoustic and visual warnings directly from the device. If you have disabled notifications on your phone, you will only see a red exclamation mark on the speed display on the map in the app.
How it works
Once you exceed the permitted speed limit, you will receive a friendly warning, an audible alert, and a notification on your phone.
Your settings - your choice
You decide if and how you want to receive speed limit warnings. In the OOONO app, you can activate and deactivate this feature in the settings menu. Here, you can also specify at what percentage or how many km/h above the permitted limit you want to receive a warning.
The feature is still in development (beta phase). However, we greatly value the collaboration and feedback of our users. Therefore, we have decided to make it available now and continuously adjust and improve it based on the feedback we receive. As with all types of warnings, it's important for users not to solely rely on them, but to use the CO-DRIVER notifications as support for attentive driving.
