How can I adjust the volume and customize warning types?

Want your CO-DRIVER to warn you exactly the way you want it? No problem!

In the device settings, you can choose the types of warnings you want to receive. You can also adjust the volume and turn off the green status blinking.

Adjust volume

In the OOONO app, you can set the volume for your CO-DRIVER warnings. You can assign different volume levels for different warning types, such as speed cameras, road hazards, and speed limit warnings.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Tap "Options" under the warning type you want to adjust.
  4. Use the slider to set the volume. Below the slider, you can test the volume on your CO-DRIVER to ensure it suits your preference.

Receive warnings from the phone

You can also receive warnings through your phone.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Tap "Options" under the warnings you want to receive from your phone.
  4. Enable "warning sound on phone" You can also test the volume on your CO-DRIVER to see if it fits your needs.

Note: You control the warning sound using your phone’s volume buttons, not the app. If your phone is on silent mode, you won’t receive any warning sound.

Mute specific warning types

You decide what your CO-DRIVER should warn you about. In the OOONO app, you can disable specific warning types.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Use the toggle switch to disable specific warning types.

Under "Speed cameras," you can also mute warnings for specific types of speed cameras.

  1. Tap "Options" under "Speed cameras" in device settings.
  2. Scroll down to “Mobile Speed Cameras”, "Fixed Speed Cameras" and "Red Light Cameras."
  3. Use the mute toggle to disable warnings for these types of speed cameras.

Disable "Show on map" warnings

If you don't want certain warnings to appear on the map, you can disable them via the app.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Tap "Options" for the warnings you don’t want to appear on the map.
  4. Disable "Show on map."

Turn off green status blinking

The green blinking light on your CO-DRIVER indicates that it's connected and ready. However, you can turn this off if you prefer.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Scroll to "Green Status Blink" and disable the function.

Adjust speed limit warnings (BETA)

You can choose whether you want an immediate warning when exceeding the speed limit or allow a tolerance. This tolerance can be set either in mp/h over the limit or as a percentage.

  1. Open the OOONO app and tap the (=) icon on the right.
  2. Select "Device settings" under your CO-DRIVER's image.
  3. Scroll to "Speed Limit Warnings."
  4. Tap "Options."
  5. Choose between mp/h or % and set your preferred tolerance.

How does the CO-DRIVER know when to warn me?

We want to make sure you only receive warnings that are truly relevant to you – nothing more, nothing less. That’s why we’ve improved our warning system with a smart algorithm that ensures warnings are even more accurate from now on.

What’s new?

You no longer have to adjust warning distances yourself – the OOONO app takes care of that for you! One less thing to worry about and more fun on the road. The app now automatically calculates the optimal warning distance based on the speed limit at each speed camera location. This way, you’ll always get your warnings at the right time, without any manual adjustments.

If you'd like more details, feel free to check out our article When do I get warned? | CO-DRIVER NO2

Will there be a subscription model for the OOONO app in the future?

The core function of the OOONO app – reliable warnings about road hazards and speed cameras – will remain completely free!

At the same time, we’re working on exciting new features to make your driving experience even better. Some of these features may become part of an extended offering in the future. Stay tuned!

How do I update the app?

We strongly encourage you to update the app as soon as the update becomes available to you. Here’s how:

  1. If you have auto-update enabled, the app will update automatically without you having to do it manually.
  2. For users without auto-update enabled, you’ll need to manually update the app by visiting the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and updating it from there. Just search for OOONO and click on update.

Android users: The update will be rolled out gradually, so it may not be available to all users immediately. Be sure to check back regularly, and once the update is available, you’ll be able to download it.

What should I do after updating the app?

After updating the app, you will need to log back in using your email address. Once logged in, you will also need to reconnect your CO-DRIVER. If you have multiple CO-DRIVER connected, make sure to reconnect them as well.

Not sure how to add more devices to your phone? Have a look at Multiple devices | CO-DRIVER NO1

  1. For Existing Users:

All your previously granted permissions (like Bluetooth, notifications and location access) and settings are remembered. After logging in, simply follow the instructions provided in the app, and you'll be all set.

  2. For New Users:

If you’re a new user, you will need to complete the onboarding flow and grant permissions for features like Bluetooth and Location access as part of the first-time setup. Find all required phone settings in our guide Required phone settings | CO-DRIVER NO1

No stress! When you use your account for the first time, the app will automatically ask you to grant access to Bluetooth, notifications, and location. After that, the onboarding will guide you step by step through everything important so you can start using your CO-DRIVER in the best possible way.

What are the system requirements for updating the app?

We know how important it is for you to have a smooth and secure experience with your OOONO device. Just like the manufacturer of your phone, we strongly recommend keeping your operating system updated - not just for compatibility, but also for your security and peace of mind.

To ensure you can enjoy all the latest features, improvements, and future updates of the OOONO app, your phone needs to meet the following requirements:

  1. Android: Version 12 or newer, with access to download the latest OOONO app from the Google Play Store.
  2. IOS: Version 16 and newer and access to download the latest version of the OOONO app from the App Store.

If your device runs an older version of Android or iOS and doesn’t meet the system requirements, it may no longer be possible to use the OOONO app. However, as technology evolves, we want to ensure the best possible experience for all users by adapting to newer systems. While we’d love to support all devices indefinitely, keeping up with the latest technology allows us to offer the best possible experience.

Do I need to create a new account?

No, you don't need to create a new account, if you already had one in the previous app version. You can simply log in using your email address. All phone settings and permissions will be remembered, so there is no need to start over.

You can't remember which email address is linked to your OOONO account? No worries! Just create a new account by using any of your email addresses. In any case you will receive a login code via email, which you can use to access your account.

Can multiple users share one account?

We encourage all users to create their own account. No worries, it’s free! If you’re using the app on multiple devices, we strongly suggest setting up a separate account for each phone.

This ensures your settings stay personalized, prevents any mix-ups, and allows you to fully customize your CO-DRIVER experience.

If you sign in on a different phone using the same email, the previously logged-in device will automatically be signed out.

Until when can I continue using the previous version of the app?

We strongly encourage you to update the app as soon as the update become available to you. The previous version of the app will soon stop working. Once that happens, you won’t receive any warnings from your CO-DRIVER.

Before all previous versions of the app are no longer supported, you will receive an email to ensure you have enough time to update to the latest version.

If you're having trouble connecting your CO-DRIVER to the app, please have a look at Required phone settings | CO-DRIVER NO1 and Technical Troubleshooting | CO-DRIVER NO1.

Both guides can help you resolve common connection issues and ensure everything is set up correctly.
