Adjusting the settings | P-DISC NO1

  • Updated

The settings for the P-DISC NO1 can easily be adjusted to fit the parking requirements for the specific parking area. Simply navigate the menu of the P-DISC NO1 with the buttons on the backside.

Below you will find information on how to do the following:

    1. Set time & date
    2. Set parking interval
    3. Set parking time (manually)

Set time and date

To manually set the parking time, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the (O)-button for a few seconds until the numbers start flashing.
  2. Set hours with the (< / >) buttons and press the (O) button once to confirm. Set minutes in the same manner. Confirm the time and continue by pressing the (O) button.
  3. Select “DST” (Daylight Saving Time) to choose automatic adjustment between winter time and daylight saving time. The P-DISC NO1 is preset to ON. If automatic adjustment is not preferred, then select “nDST” (No Daylight Saving Time) with the help of the (< / >) buttons. Press the (O) button to continue and confirm.
  4. If “DST” is on, set the year, month, and date, with the help of the (< / >) buttons. Press the (O) button to continue and confirm.
The parking disc is now set.

Set parking interval

To set the parking interval, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold down the (O) button on your P-DISC NO1 for a few seconds until the numbers start flashing - You are now in the settings-menu.
  2. While at it, confirm the time is correct and press (O) to skip to the next setting in the settings-menu. Proceed by skipping through time, daylight saving time, and date with the (O) button. Once the date and year has been set, you will be able to set the parking interval.
  3. Now you can adjust it to your preference. The default setting is 15 minutes, but can be changed to either 1 minute or 30 minutes. Navigate between the options with the “<” and “>” buttons.

We encourage you to always check that you are compliant with the local parking interval to ensure that your parking disc is displaying the parking time correctly.

Set parking time manually

To manually set the parking time, the P-DISC NO1 needs to be in parking mode. This happens automatically within 2 minutes after the vehicle is parked.

  1. Pressing either the  “<” or “>” button will adjust parking time back or forth, respectively. This will change the time with intervals of 1, 15, or 30 minutes, depending on the parking time interval you have selected.
  2. If you wish to change your time interval, please see this part of the article: Parking interval

Manually setting the parking time can be an advantage with time-differentiated parking. For example, if you park your car in the evening when a parking disc is not required, but it will be the following day, you will need to set it manually.

It may also be required if the vehicle has driven a short distance and the parking time is not automatically reset to the time of the new parking.

Due to the legislation, one must not be able to change the parking time from a remote distance.
