Phone Settings - Why are they important?

To ensure the best possible experience with your CO-DRIVER NO1, we suggest that you make sure the following settings are enabled on your smartphone.

Having the settings in your smartphone set according to the below suggestions ensures that the automatic connection to the CO-DRIVER NO1 works correctly and that you can receive real-time traffic warnings whenever you go for a drive.

  • App Settings

    Go to Settings and scroll down until you see the Apps. Locate the OOONO app in the list of apps and select it.

    In App info, you need to ensure the settings are set as follows:

     

      1. Notifications - Allowed
      2. Permissions - Location, Nearby Devices and Notifications
        (Select "Permissions" to grant or remove permissions)
      3. Remove permissions if app is unused - Disabled
      4. Pause app activity if unused -  Disabled

    Battery Settings

    Go to Settings and scroll down until you see Battery and select it.

    In the Battery settings, you need to ensure the settings are set as follows:

     

    1. Power saving- Disabled/Not Optimized

    Swipe from the top of your screen to access the quick menu. In this menu you will see certain settings light up - This means they are enabled.

    In this menu you need to ensure the following settings are set accordingly:

     

    1. Bluetooth - Enabled
    2. Location - Enabled
    3. Mobile Data - Enabled

  • App Settings

    Go to Settings and scroll down until you see the OOONO app and select it.

    In the OOONO app settings, you need to ensure the settings are set as follows:

     

    1. Location settings - Always
    2. Bluetooth - Enabled (Always)
    3. Notifications/Messages - Enabled
    4. Background App Refresh - Enabled
    5. Mobile Data - Enabled

    Go to Settings and scroll down until you see Battery and select it.

    In the Battery settings, you need to ensure the settings are set as follows:

     

    1. Power saving- Disabled/Not Optimized
